Deputation in D.C.
Our deputation took us to Clinton, MD, to a wonderful church…I cannot put into words how good it is to be back in full swing…sitting in a conference for a week makes me want to go to the field so bad I can hardly stand it…God is in complete control, and we are trusting Him…good news is that the church we were in took us on for support…..We did get to tour our nation’s capitol…the White House, the impressive WWII Memorial, the Vietnam memorial, and many others….By far, the most moving events of our trip was to walk through Arlinton National Cemetery and the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was good for me to see those who have sacrificed that I can live in the United States today. On our way out of the cemetery, there was a flag-draped coffin of a recent soldier who had given his life for his country. I am also reminded of how Christ laid down all for us, and gave us the greatest of all freedom! Praise Him for that.
